there is this girl i just went out with and their was a lot of chemistry. today their was a new guy she just facebooked friended. he is an alum at our college and we are freshman. is their a chance she is dating him also? i am just curious because i asked her if she want to get together this weekend and she said she is going to be busy. then i asked about next weekend and she said she is not sure yet. i obsess about things like this and i should not? it would scare her off if she new i do obsess like this?

Maybe but maybe not. She may have friended an alum to start a network for her career. Maybe she has the same major as he did. Maybe he's working in an industry she's interested in. A lot of colleges have alumni networks for career purposes but Freshmen many times don't know it's there. This may be her way of getting a jump on getting to know people in her choosen field.





It doesn't seem like you've been dating long so I wouldn't make a big deal about it but maybe you can be sneaky and look at his profile to see if they have common interests, which may help quell your fears.





I have MySpace. My Friends consist of actual friends from high school and college, alumni from college who were not friends, and collegues in other companies who work in the same field I do.

i also used to be like that and obsess over thing like this until i learnt that thinking abt these things is useless all it does is make me feel depressed nad angry..so plz dont think put much thought into this
Reply:Yes they might date their Facebook friends but honestly don't jump to any conclusions just yet - my male friends are made up of school friends, friends boyfriends/husbands, my brother's friends etc......my point is not all the men she befriends are for romantic reasons!


Don't fall into the trap of torturing yourself with Facebook.....and give this girl some space she sounds confused.
Reply:well i think its okay sometimes to be obsess i am like that and i understand you... well she might be going out with you but she can also be trying to get to know the other dude you know shes probably trying to figure out who she should keep but if shes already going out with him on the weekends that might mean shes into him and well she might not be the right chik for you ....hey look on the bright side there are more chiks out there for a nice good lookin guy like you....
