Is this dumb...or is it just me?

So basically, I liked this guy who I've worked with for 3 years. He was leaving for college in a week, and I thought there was a good chance he liked me, so I decided to tell him how I felt. Unfortunately, he not only said he didn't feel the same, but that he was also "getting involved" with another girl. I was upset, but we agreed to stay in touch while he was away. I later find out that this other girl is going to be a senior in high school, and that they only started getting closer very recently. He's only known her for maybe a few months. Then, on the night before he left for college, I discover on facebook that he changed his relationship status from "single" to "in a relationship" with this new girl. Yes, maybe I'm a lil jealous, which is normal I suppose.But isn't it kinda dumb to start a new relationship with this girl, when he's in his freshman year of college 4 hours away, and she's starting her senior yr of HS?I can't see this lasting long at all.Or maybe I'm just hoping lol

I think you are just reacting to the fact he wasn't into you. Move on and forget about him. That relationship will more then likely fail yes. Oh and good for you to have the nerve to tell him how you feel! Now just find one that feels the same.

Reply:it's up to him. jealousy is rough. i say keep it moving and find a guy who likes you. don't dwell on a guy who's 4 hours away and most likely gonna break up with his girl.
