Is She Hinting?

There's a girl in my class in high school, but I haven't seen her since we graduated two years ago and we both went to separate colleges. We were never close...we had classes together, but never really talked, barely knew each other. I asked her out once, and she said no, but that's about the extent of it. In the past month, November into December, she has suddenly started emailing me. Leaving notes on my Facebook wall. Asking how college is, expressing interest in organizations I am involved with on campus, etc. She's asking me things about campus that I have never told her, and she would have to search for to find out about. She even said at one point: "Maybe we will run into each other over Christmas!" Is she hinting at something, or am I just over-analyzing? I haven't seen the girl in two years, never talked to her before, and suddenly she is emailing me...

Reply:I think she definitely is trying to connect with you. You should ask her to coffee or something casual and see how she reacts. It can't hurt anything!
Reply:sounds like she is interested. Well if you do "run into her" over break, act casual and if you hang out, act like a friend the first time. Do you like her? You dont want to be too forward and telling her this until you've atleast hung out a few times.
Reply:i think she probably wants to be your friend. i know a guy that i havent talked to (really talked to anyway) in about two years and now he always looks at me likes he wants to be friends with me. dont jump to conclusions right away. and talk to her and get to know her and see whats goin on. a lot changes over two years
