Did you ever have a high school crush?

Well, now I'm in college and I just had a dream about my high school crush last night and that she supposedly died because it was my fault or I accidentally killed her, or killed her and thought it was someone else but it turned out to be her, or something like that....wierd dream huh? Yeah but I was crying in my dream because of her death and when I woke up, I felt sad. The thing is though, this crush was five years ago. I'm a sophmore in college now and I liked her throughout highschool (freshman year-junior year) although she was a grade ahead of me. She was friends with my friend and I never had the balls to approach her. I added her on facebook freshman year and college and seen how much she's changed (personality-wise). She's still that beautiful girl, but not that artsy, quiet, mysterious, moulin rouge, type of girl anymore. She looks like she's a lot more expressive...in the sense that she knows she's hot and she's going to live up to her expectations such as partying, etc.

uhh......maybe. that is a really really strange dream you had, there. Me and my friend have both had dreams about accidentally killing someone who we turned out to like so don't worry about it too much.....ya we're not insayne..... ha. :) uh... if you ever do cross paths again, try not to openly express your feelings.... observe how she's changed or whatever. you can still be buds, though....:)

Reply:I kind of went through the same thing as you. I had a crush on a girl for 2 years in high school. Finally, on the last year (senior year) i asked her out and she said she loved someone else. I felt so bad. I sometimes dreamed of doing bad things to her and then woke up thinking it meant something. The only thing about dreaming to kill somebody is probably that it means that you want to erase her out of your memory and forget her or that you want to let her know what she meant to you when you liked her and that you only dreamed of killing her because you never had that chance to tell her. Now that you're in college, as am I, if you see her again you'll be surprised but I strongly believe you'll just talk negative about her in your mind. You'll say how she didn't deserve you and just want to forget her. that's what i did in college with the girl I had a crush on. I even had her for a class which was worse because i want to forget her. But the fact is that they are part of your emotions and they will always make your heart beat but find someone who will love you and that you can truly love and this way you'll be able to forget and laugh at the dumb crush you had in high school. Let her be what she wants, just don't hurt yourself emotionally about seeing her even more beautiful than before. There's better people out there man.
