i've tried i don't know how many times but its for the college network and i put in my college email address and it doesn't send.i don't have a spam/junk mail folder or anything on that email but the email does work i just don't get anything from facebook...

Even if you don't have a bulk mail folder, your school most likely still has spam filters. Consult with your school's IT department to see where all your bulk mail goes.
Your school most likely blocked the e-mail because it considered it to be spam, since Facebook sends out a massive amount of confirmation e-mails.
