All of my friends who are in High School %26amp; not even in High School yet, have a Facebook, but whenever i sign up.. It always says "Sorry, that registration option is only available for users 18 and over. Please register through your high school or college below." But all of my friends put there real age... like, "13, 14, 15, etc.," and still can sign up. I set my birth year to 1994 cause that is my real age [13]. For the network, I always put, "none of the above," but it still wouldn't let me sign up. Please help.
How old do you have to be to join Facebook?
You will have to wait till you get to High School. I was 15 when I got a Facebook, and it went through. So try waiting till' you go to High School.
Reply:Just make sure to enter your school name when you sign up.
Reply:you have to be in high school.
Reply:If you want to choose the option for none of the above, you have to be 18 or older. If you say that you are 13, you need to be in high school or something. I am also 13, in 8th grade, and I signed up for Facebook, but my account's disabled till next summer. =/ You can guess why.
Reply:i would say don't start using until high school. it was originally made for people in college, but people have started using it in high school so that they can keep in contact with older friends because "myspace isn't cool."
Reply:I guess you should put 18+
Reply:Depends:
For entering a high school: 13 years up
For entering an organization: 18 years up
To enter as a single person (without any network, high school, work, in other ways to pass the time and make friends): 18 years up
I see you are thirteen, so enter any high school network, doesn't matter if you aren't in it, to be able to enter facebook.
Also put that you are older than 13.
Hope this helps!!
Reply:here is what to do:put that you were born on 1989,after making your account put that your graduating year would be 2012 or whatever it is and click "make age private".that way people would know your age, other thing you can do is later edit age/birthday
