I am trying to register on Facebook. Can anybody help me?

I HATE THIS STUPID WEBSITE ALREADY. I try to register and it tells me that "There is no college network for this email address. Please double-check your email address or click here to request to add your network." What the hell does that even mean? Of course there is no college network for my email address! It is my own email address, not the college's. What the hell are they talking about?! ARGH!! What on earth am I supposed to do?





I'm sorry for ranting - but people say that it is better than Myspace and that makes me want to punch holes in cinder-block walls - look how difficult it is to register!!

all u actually have to do is join a certain network..they want u to be in ur school's, but all u have to do is keep ur email, and join the network of ur city.


for ex, if u live in chicago, type in that network, and u should be able to make ur facebook..


i made a new one for my older sister who had the same problem, and this seemed to work...!

Reply:it's looking for a network that's in its list with your college name; which is after the @ sign in your email address.


Probably no-one from your college has used their college email address to sign up so no network like this exists.


You don't have to join a network straight away if you don't want to
Reply:maybe theres somthing wrong with ya email adress dude..try logging onto hotmail or yahoo and create urself a new adress there..then just sign up with facebook man..its super simple..you just click on the sign up button, would you like me to point it out for u? :)
