Problems signing up to facebook?

i don't have a college email address, whatever that is, and it won't allow me to sign up because i'm seventeen. i was reading a similar question, and someone said that you don't need to sign up through school or college anymore. but when i try it's still not working. help?

You dont have to do it through the school/college network. Sign up through the normal network.


In the checkbox asking you "You are in : " Dont click on school/college, click on none. After this,you can sign up using your regular email id.


You better sign up for facebook fast cos its addictive and I spend 3-4 hours daily online on facebook!!!!

Reply:What you need is an invitaion.....or else what ur to do is dat join thru any School/College....den if u want u can join any Skool/Col network after login in..!!I had the same prob for my 2nd ID...dis is wat i did!!!


Also ur juz 17 so m I..lol....so u gotta go thru a Skool....(some stupid facebook rule)!!!!!!

You can use any email address, i think it used to be set that you could only use a school, college or uni email address, something like that anyway but i have managed to sign up using a gmail email address so give it another shot I'm sure it will work this time :)
Reply:Get an invitation from your friend who is already on Facebook. Later on you can change the details to your local workplace, city or whatever you like
