Why do college girls in america wear such slutty clothing on halloween?

has anyone else realized this? College girls in america dress like sluts on halloween. They have to be the sexy school girl,teacher,cop or nurse..Then they have to post the pics on facebook and show off..."LOOK AT US WE ARE SLUTS!!" Why is this? Why dont american teenagers have any self-respect? Why must they dress so slutty? what's the point? I personally feel that they are belittling themselves.

Hey, you don't need to go to college to be slutty!! You can do it with just a high school diploma. And not just on Hallowe'en. Every day is Slutty Day. Yay!





No, really, if they're in college and otherwise decent people, it's just fun on one night a year. Just wish I looked as good!

Reply:well, i'm no collage girl or anything... but halloween is about being somehing YOUR NOT! chances are most of those girls are squares. i went to the Sprit store yester day and i saw a collage girl get a playboy school girl coustume. she was dressed in a UGLY black dress. i think that they do that for that one night to show, "hey, i may be nerd/geek on every other day on the year, EXCEPT halloween." maybe it gives them POWER. IDK%26gt; but i hope i'm right!

I can't imagine if I'll wear those kind of costumes. Maybe, they all look hot or cool when they wear kind of costumes like that.

Reply:I am speaking for only the young women I know that dress like sluts for Halloween; they are promiscuous throughout the year. (not just at Halloween) They want all men (or women, depends on their sexual preference) to desire them.
Reply:Firstly I want to say that not everybody does that. Maybe those were the only costumes that were attracting YOUR attention, but its really not the norm for all of us girls.


Secondly I want to say that for a lot of girls, Halloween is the one night where they feel like its "okay" to let their hair down and wear that sexy dress. Its a bit like the masks that were worn in the Italian Carnival season. They broke down the barriers of society and allowed the commoners to mix with wealthy, because nobody knew one person from another.


On a normal day you probably wouldn't see half of those girls wearing anything close to something that revealing. But on Halloween, you can be whatever you want to be, and that includes being a sexy temptress, if even just for that one night.


Personally I am going traditional this year and am being a witch, and not a sexy one for your information. Last year I was the Mad Hatter, and he wears baggy pants and a jacket. It all just depends on what kind of character you want to portray. Happy Halloween.
Reply:well, some do that, even highschoolers, the highschoolers I go to school with n e way. but not all are like that!(in highschool) and I would never or never have dressed as a slut. Im actually dressing up as Mrs. Pots for halloween:)

2) Most college girls can't be defined as teenagers, most enter at the age of 18, which in the US defines one as an adult


3) Why do you care what image they project of themselves, so most of the ones that dress like that wanna get laid, or make some guy jealous, so what, how is it harming you?
