Registering for Facebook?

I don't understand the section where it ask for your e-mail and it tells me to enter my college or alumni e-mail address? I just registered for classes today at my university's orientation. I put Undergrad under the I AM section of registration. WTF is a college or alumni email? And wtf is alumni lol. sorry for being so str8 forwardddd.

your school should give you a email adress..... thats what you use... as far as a alumni.... thats someone that has graduated

Reply:You don't need to enter ANY information if you don't think it's necessary, which it really isn't





Just put the basics in there to start with and add more later if you think it's useful!





People don't need to have 4 email addresses listed on the same page, if they want to contact you they can do it through facebook itself, or just one email address.
Reply:that's like if you have an email through your collage for example: jessicab@wmich.com that would me my name with a college Western Michigan University, if i had an e-mail through the school's browser, and if you don't just leave it blank
Reply:You don't need to put that. I don't have an email for my college. I just used my yahoo and I got a facebook account.
Reply:You're supposed to use the email your college gives you. Alumni means that you graduated from that school...
